Primarily personal business records, legal documents, and correspondence including letters and documents (1904-1907), relating to Sparks' involvement with the Nevada Amalgamated Mining, Milling and Leasing Company, which he served as president; printed autographed portrait (1904), bearing the caption "Our Next United States Senator/Governor John Sparks"; mimeographed letter (15 May 1907), addressed to the New Amsterdam Securities Company, in which Sparks attests to his confidence in the Nevada-Goldfield Mining, Milling and Smelting Company, of which he is president; and legal documents relating to the estate of H.H. Dake, who apparently was a creditor of Sparks.
